Back-up Power
In the event of a power cut, your home lift has a dedicated battery back-up which will always return to the ground floor where you can exit the car using a manual release.

The Wessex Through Floor Lift has a fire rated door hatch so when the lift is upstairs the cover gives a fire rated seal.
It also comes as standard an automatic battery backed evacuation system in the case of a power failure. so there will never be trapped passengers.
